My Story

A son of Mvita.

I am Omar Shallo — a son of Mvita, a community organiser, an entrepreneur and a proud Mombasan. I grew up walking the same streets, attending the same schools and sharing the same dreams as thousands of families across our constituency.

For over a decade, I have worked side by side with residents, youth groups, women's chamas, faith leaders and small business owners to deliver real change — better schools, safer neighbourhoods, cleaner streets and more opportunity.

Today, I am stepping forward to serve Mvita at the next level. Not because I want a title, but because I want our children to inherit a constituency that truly works for everyone.

My Values

What I Stand For

Integrity

Transparent decisions, honest communication and accountability to every resident.

Service

Leadership measured by impact on the lives of ordinary families, not titles.

Inclusion

Every voice matters — women, youth, elders, people with disabilities and faith communities.

Bringing the best ideas, the right partners and proven solutions to Mvita.
