A roaring crowd at the Mombasa arena celebrated as Mvita's young boxers took to the ring in a night that fused sport, mentorship and community pride.
Omar Shallo joined the champions in the ring to present awards and pledged sustained investment in grassroots sport — gyms, kits, coaching and travel support for talented athletes.
Three of the night's winners have already been linked to national academies, a testament to what consistent investment in youth can unlock.
